Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers are each legends in their own right. Both have enjoyed singing AND acting careers that have spanned approximately five decades. Between these superstars they have accumulated CMA Music Awards, Grammy Awards, Academy Awards, and almost 50 Number 1 Hits, and are members of the Country Music Hall of Fame. In 1981, Dolly and Kenny teamed up to record Islands in the Stream, written by the Bee Gees. Islands in the Stream was a smash hit.
