Labelle Winery –

Spring 2001 – The Lightbulb Moment – While working for Fidelity, Amy LaBelle lived in Boston’s South End. That Summer, while vacationing in Nova Scotia, she visited a small winery and witnessed the making of blueberry wine. The sight, feel, smell of it all caused an “Aha!” moment for Amy; in that moment, Amy knew she was born to open LaBelle Winery. Amy’s first batch of wine was a one-gallon batch of Blueberry Wine, crafted in her Boston apartment. For the next four years she experimented and educated herself and she began to practice & perfect her craft, all the while dreaming the details of the winery she would build. In 2005 she opened a small winery in Walpole, NH. On October 3, 2012, the new Labelle Winery vineyard & facility opened in Amherst, NH, tripling production, and opening to tours of the vineyard. Enjoy our wine tasting and tour of the facility.

MURPHY’S TAPROOM & CARRIAGE HOUSE – BEDFORD, NH

Murphy’s in Bedford New Hampshire has been open since July of 2017. The Taproom’s Bedford location is a Restaurant and Taproom with 30 draft beers and an extensive wine and craft beer selection. Nothing is better than some good craic at your favorite taproom and restaurant. The atmosphere is second only to the food – all created by Executive Chef and Amherst resident Tom Reaney. At the Tap Room they’re always welcoming new people to come enjoy some good food and drinks with your friends and family. Enjoy a nice hot meal with some cold beer or wine while you enjoy good company.

Enjoy a Brewery Tour of Anheuser-Bush:

It all began 150 years ago, as a small brewery located along the Mississippi River. In 1857, Adolphus Busch, who was the second youngest of 22 children, immigrated to the United States from Germany. He began working as a clerk on the Riverfront, and later formed a brewery supply company. We’ll learn the history of the company and have a TasteFull’a beer at the end of our guided tours of the brew hall, cold cellars, and high-speed packaging operations. Following, we’ll see award-winning landscaping and visit their Old World-Style Hamlet barns, one of the most beautiful settings where the Budweiser Clydesdales used to be housed.
